If Future a Dead Loss
March 18–April 15, 2017
Werft 5 – Raum für Kunst, Köln
How cultural history shapes our imagination of the past, the present, and the future?
Is there any time left to envision the future? «What happens if the young are no longer capable of producing surprises?» Is future a dead loss?
If Future a Dead Loss is an exhibition about time, loss, emptiness, unmet expectations and hidden desires and has nothing to do with sci-fi scenarios, melontology or futuristic post-internet aesthetics.
During the opening night three performers where serving drinks to the guests. In a certain moment, even if they were still taking orders for drinks, they wouldn’t deliver them. Many of the visitors left the exhibition shortly after.
